How your EICR is scheduled

Your membership includes an EICR when the property reaches its recommended inspection interval, or where legislation requires one. Most domestic owner-occupied properties require inspection every five years, while rental and commercial properties may have different recommended inspection periods.

Annual inspections help identify deterioration early and maintain ongoing electrical safety.

When will my EICR be carried out?
Your membership includes an EICR when your property reaches its recommended inspection interval, or where legislation requires one. Most domestic owner-occupied homes are due every five years, while rental and commercial premises may have shorter intervals. We track the due date for you and book it in when it falls.
Who is eligible to join?
Compliance Care is open to homeowners, landlords and business owners across our coverage area of Hertfordshire, London and East Anglia. Choose Essential Care or Compliance Care for domestic properties, or Business Compliance for commercial premises.
Can I cancel my membership?
Yes. All memberships can be cancelled at any time. Annual plans run for the twelve months paid for, and monthly plans can be stopped whenever you choose.
How are add-on services billed?
Add-ons can be paid monthly alongside your membership or as a single annual amount at a lower total. They attach to any membership tier and can be added or removed as your needs change.
What happens if remedial work is needed?
If an inspection identifies remedial work, we explain it in plain English and quote it at your member discount — from 5% up to 20% depending on your tier — with fixed member labour rates on the higher plans.
Do I need to be present for the inspection?
Not necessarily. As long as our engineer has safe access to the consumer unit and relevant circuits, arrangements such as a key or a nominated contact on site are fine. We confirm access needs when we book.
How do I access my certificates?
Every certificate is stored securely online in your digital compliance record, so you can download or forward it to a tenant, insurer or fire officer at any time.
What is the Premium Compliance Bundle?
The Premium Compliance Bundle packages the most popular add-on services — fire alarm and emergency lighting testing, PAT testing, thermal imaging, EV charger inspection and more — into a single plan at £499 per year, saving over £350 versus buying each add-on separately.
